Winter Sun
Winter Sun was inspired by the horses on the neighbouring property when I lived in the mountains of East Gippsland. This was my favourite mare, and the way the gentle winter sun lit her up on this day made me want to paint her. The backdrop is the magnificent Australian Alps, specifically the Angora Ranges behind Ensay.
This painting is 34×48cm on archival 300gsm Colourfix sanded paper, and as it is framed it is available for pick up up only from my Mandurah studio.
Frame size is 51×63cm. Beautiful oak timber and ClearVue non-reflective glass.
