I met this charismatic Australian Silver Gull on a late summer morning at Dolphin Quay Marina in Mandurah. He seemed to be quite happy surveying his domain from his prime position on this post.
Silver Gulls are very common in coastal regions all around Australia, but for such common birds they all have very distinct personalities and characteristics, and that’s what I love trying to captire in this series of seagull paintings.
