Lilac Laddie
Lilac Laddie is a sweet little fairy wren painted in mixed media with watercolour, soft pastels and a touch of fine liner. I’ve used a washy lilac toned background which complements the soft hues in his feathers. These little guys abound in the wetlands around Mandurah but they dart about so quickly it’s difficult to catch a glimpse of them. Lilac Laddie pairs nicely with Lilac Lass.
Available as a giclée quality print using Fine Art smooth paper 220gsm. Printed with archival ink, all have a lightfastness under glass and away from direct sunlight of greater than 200 years.
