Dancing Queen is reproduced from my original pastel painting. I met this beautiful sulphur crested cockatoo at a local bird sanctuary and she was an absolute delight. I spent an hour sitting on the ground with her and couldn’t wait to capture her happy little personality in pastel. I used lots of soft colour in the underpainting to bring depth and life to the white feathers, and I think I captured her inquisitive expression.
She is available to purchase either stretched (gallery wrapped, ready to hang on the wall) or un-stretched (with a 9cm border) ready for you to frame yourself.
